So recently I have connected with an AMAZING makeup artist, Amber Silva. Her website is here : All Dolled Up
Seriously, her work is incredible, and we started tossing around the idea of doing a Boudoir shoot. Well, talks became action and last week we did a marathon shoot! Featuring some GORGEOUS models, some fabulous hair and makeup (Hair is by Alyssa, contact me for more info!!) here is a little teaser of some of the stunning images we captured!!

Oh My, this little hunk of joy was so fun to photograph! She was such a happy baby and we zoomed through this session because she was having such a great time, as was I!!

Matt is graduating!!

I have done a couple of photoshoots for Matt’s niece Baby I, and when I heard he was graduating I was so excited to take his Senior Portraits! He is into skateboarding so we incorporated that as well as just walking around our little town and trying to capture all that is American Canyon! This is a picture heavy post but worth it, Matt is a good looking guy!!

Summer?

We have only had about 4 days of hot weather this summer so far. On one of them, Greg, the kids and I went to Fort Cronkite Beach, and I took this shot. It looks like a hot summer day at the beach, even though right now it is only 56 degrees, and isn’t supposed to get above 69 this week!!

I love that perspective! We’ve had a really cool summer too. We usually spend all summer in the pool but so far have been in only once.

I did this session almost a month ago, but things have been so crazy busy around Vanessa Kearns Photography that I have gotten behind on my blogging!
Anyway these three are just the sweetest family (minus dad who was at work and it was a dream to photograph them! Little S is a doll who loves to smile for the camera and R was super cute and chatty and made my job easy! Thank you for allowing me to photograph your family Michelle!

Kate and Jeremy are married!

This couple just EXUDES love. You can’t help but see how much they adore each other every time they are anywhere near each other. I had so much fun shooting this wedding for my dear friend and her HUSBAND, at the beautiful Lawrence Hall of Science. We couldn’t have asked for better weather and the sunset was stunning!!
Congratulations you two, your proofs will be up very soon!!
